Memorials, like people, come in an almost infinite number of styles which fall into two primary categories: in-ground memorials (a.k.a. “headstones”) and upright monuments. In-ground lawn-level memorials are for individual graves and are made of solid granite that is engraved to your specifications or a bronze plaque which is cast and then installed on a granite base. Upright monuments are available for multiple side-by-side graves, rise several feet above the ground, and are made of granite that is designed to last for centuries. We will work with you to decide all aspects of your memorial design in order to make sure it represents your family and your heritage.
With thousands of designs and emblems to choose from, and our ability to make virtually any custom emblem, your custom memorial can feature any belief or hobby from crosses and roses to gardening and fishing boats. Additionally, we can even engrave a picture of your loved one in bronze or have their photo engraved on a granite memorial.
Elm Lawn Memorial Park also offers a number of floral vase designs in bronze, granite, aluminum, and zinc. Floral vases can either be part of the design of a memorial or they can be installed in addition to a memorial as a separate unit.
Upright MonumentsUpright monuments come in a wide variety of standard designs which are then customized to a family’s specifications. However, upright monuments can be completely custom-made. If there is something that you had in mind that you do not see on our website or design catalog, we can have a design custom-made as you would like it. Many people see something on a personally meaningful building or statue that they would like to incorporate into an upright monument etching, and when asked if we can make it, our answer is almost always, “Yes, we can.”

Bronze MemorialsBronze markers are flush (lawn-level) memorials permitted in every section of the cemetery. Bronze Memorials come in various types: Individual, Companion, Infant, and Double Interment. Bronze markers can be mounted on a granite base which frames the bronze in a stately fashion. Bronze markers are fully customizable including colors, font style and size, design, and vases or personal emblems that reflect a loved one’s hobbies or religious beliefs. Photos can be added for an extra personal touch. Customer Service Providers can design your marker using computer software so you can see the end result before it’s even sent to our vendor.
Granite MemorialsGranite markers are available in all sections within the cemetery and installed flush with the lawn. They are available in both flush companion and individual sizes, with a wide range of colors and hundreds of design options, and can include an engraved or ceramic picture created from the photo of your loved one, if desired. Infant memorials are available as well to remember God’s littlest angels.
